Framework guidance

We are frequently asked to explain how framework agreements operate in practice, and the practicalities around call-offs under frameworks.

The guidance below answers some of the common queries on framework agreements, and explains when use of a framework is appropriate and how to call-off under a framework.

Some other frequently asked questions about frameworks are answered in our procurement Q&As section. You should also refer to the general Framework Guidance published by the OGC, together with the OGC's Procurement Policy Note on the importance of proper identification of contracting authorities who are entitled to use a framework (our blog post on the latter is here).
